Collaboration in Times of Home Office and Remote Work

Due to the coronavirus, many companies are actively offering their employees home office, while others are even mandating it. Therefore, many are being thrown in at the deep end when it comes to collaborating effectively and successfully with colleagues virtually.

After all, it’s enough if just one colleague from the team suddenly works from home. This collaboration doesn’t always run completely smoothly: many companies have conducted few formal training sessions on Remote Work, Online Meetings, and Virtual Leadership in the past. This is now taking its toll.

The edutrainment company has been offering webinars, e-learnings, and live online training on precisely these topics for several years. Take advantage of our offerings now to prepare your teams and specialists.

Remote work, virtual collaboration, or mobile work – without the appropriate skills in using tools, professionally conducting online meetings, or knowledge of the particular challenges in communication – leads to productivity losses, unnecessary conflicts, and creates the exact opposite of what one actually hopes for from this form of work. Namely, increased productivity or, currently, a professional continuation of work and particularly important projects under especially challenging conditions.

Use the current situation to actively test new learning formats, especially on highly relevant topics.

Remote Work

What is the difference between Webtalk, Webinars, and Live Online Training?

We distinguish three different formats for live online formats.

1. Webtalk

This is a keynote supplemented by polls, chat, and live questions and comments. The duration is usually between 30 and 45 minutes.

2. Webinar

Here, the duration is usually between 30 and 60 minutes, and with a duration of 60 minutes, a webinar is already significantly more interactive, as specific case studies are also worked on live with contributions from participants.

Live Online Training

3. Live Online Training

This is a live format that optimally transfers face-to-face training into the virtual world. The trainer is not just someone who presents something, but accompanies the topic by working on case studies or even group work. Open exchange, including role-playing with live feedback and video annotations, are components of a Live Online Training.

All formats can be part of a complete Learner Journey or an online course with e-learnings, implementation tasks, or webinars with experts from your company, already existing content, so that the learning objectives are achieved even with a purely online implementation.

So, don’t throw your employees in at the deep end; instead, prepare them optimally for the future of work. Contact us.
