A real win for everyone \u2013 and a must for modern learning offerings.   <\/p>\n\n<!--more-->\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Accessibility \u2013 more than just an extra<\/h2>\n\n<p>Accessibility in eLearning means that everyone can use content independently \u2013 whether they have physical impairments, learning barriers, or specific technical requirements. At the same time, other users benefit as well: subtitles help, for example, in noisy environments or with content in a foreign language.<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The 6 most important requirements for accessible eLearning:<\/h3>\n\n<ol start=\"1\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Subtitles &amp; transcripts:<\/strong><br\/>Written alternatives should be available for all audio and video content. This helps with hearing impairments, language barriers, and also makes it easier to quickly look things up. <br\/><br\/><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Keyboard navigation:<\/strong><br\/>All functions \u2013 navigation, buttons, quizzes \u2013 must be usable <strong>entirely without a mouse<\/strong>. The Tab and Enter keys are essential. <br\/><br\/><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Screen reader compatibility:<\/strong><br\/>Text, alt text, a clear heading structure \u2013 so screen readers can work reliably.
